| Gene Description | SMARCA2, SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent, regulator of chromatin, subfamily a, member 2, is an ATPase subunit of the SWI/SNF complex involved in transcriptional regulation (PMID: 31722744, PMID: 12620226, PMID: 29273066). Decreased expression of SMARCA2 has been observed in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 12566296), small cell carcinoma of the ovary (PMID: 26356327), prostate cancer (PMID: 19074882), and lung neuroendocrine carcinomas (PMID: 33896578), and a fusion with CREM has been identified in salivary gland hyalinazing clear cell carcinoma (PMID: 36504225) and intracranial mesenchymal tumor (PMID: 34715942). | ||||||||||
