| Gene Description | SMARCD1, SWI/SNF related, matrix associated, actin dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily d, member 1, encodes a component of the SWI/SNF complex that facilitates chromatin remodeling by interacting with the glucocorticoid receptor and mediates antitumor activity by directly interacting with Tp53 (PMID: 19234488, PMID: 12917342, PMID: 18303029). SMARCD1 mutations have been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 22722201). | ||||||||||
