| Gene Description | SOX10, SRY-box transcription factor 10, is a member of the SOXE subclass of SOX transcription factors that regulates neural crest and periphery nervous system cells survival, differentiation, and development (PMID: 27552919). Sox10 is expressed in melanoma and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (PMID: 18636017), and Sox10 overexpression has been identified in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 27051302). | ||||||||||
