| Gene Description | SUV39H1, suppressor of variegation 3-9 homolog 1, is a H3K9me3-specific histone methyltransferase (PMID: 32061753) that regulates transcription through chromatin modification and plays a role in cell cycle and differentiation (PMID: 12723694, PMID: 28106510). Dysregulated SUV39H1 expression has been associated with genomic instability in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 28833505) and overexpression has been observed in colorectal carcinoma (PMID: 32061753). | ||||||||||
