| Gene Description | TACC1, transforming acidic coiled-coil containing protein 1, is a member of the taxin family and may play a role in cell division through regulation of transition out of M-phase during mitosis (PMID: 15064709). FGFR1-TACC1 fusions have been observed in glioma (PMID: 27852792), brain extraventricular neurocytomas (PMID: 29978331), and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (PMID: 27974047) and overexpression of Tacc1 has been reported in gastric cancer (PMID: 24358147). | ||||||||||
