| Gene Description | TARBP2, TARBP2 subunit of RISC loading complex, functions as part of the RNA induced silencing complex (RISC) to regulate siRNA mediated gene silencing, acts as an inhibitor of PKR (PMID: 25437560), and regulates RNA stability in the nucleus (PMID: 31300274). Mutations in TARBP2 have been detected in gastrointestinal cancers and Tarbp2 overexpression has been detected in breast cancer (PMID: 22719182, PMID: 24563327, PMID: 30759864) and associated with decreased survival (PMID: 27980417). | ||||||||||
