| Gene Description | TCF12, transcription factor 12, belongs to the bHLH family of transcription factors and plays a role in regulation of several biological processes, including T-cell development and neuronal and myogenic differentiation (PMID: 29163030, PMID: 22577461, PMID: 16847330). TCF12 mutations have been observed in anaplastic oligodendroglioma (PMID: 26068201), a fusion between TCF12 and NR4A3 has been demonstrated in extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (PMID: 24746215), and Tcf12 is overexpressed in ovarian cancer (PMID: 31311684). | ||||||||||
