| Gene Description | TNS1, tensin 1, encodes for a focal adhesion molecule that links the actin cytoskeleton to integrins, and comprises a SH2 domain rendering it capable of binding phosphotyrosines such as PI3 kinase and FAK (PMID: 28486112). A FGFR2-TNS1 fusion has been identified in triple-receptor negative breast cancer (PMID: 29203461) and a TNS1-ALK fusion has been reported in a uterine mesenchymal tumor (PMID: 31264439). | ||||||||||
