| Gene Description | TNIP2, TNFAIP3 interacting protein 2, encodes a protein that inhibits activation of NF-kappaB signaling and is associated with regulation of cell type-specific apoptosis, angiogenesis, and activation of the innate immune response (PMID: 12595760, PMID: 12933576, PMID: 14653779, PMID: 16633345). TNIP2 mutations have been observed in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PMID: 21266526), a TNIP2-ALK fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 31521978), and an FGFR3-TNIP2 fusion has been identified in bladder urothelial carcinoma (PMID: 26373574). | ||||||||||
