| Gene Description | LZTR1, leucine zipper like transcription regulator 1, is a Golgi protein and member of the BTB/POZ superfamily that plays a role in degradation of RAS-GTPase proteins (PMID: 31533111) and functions as an adaptor protein for Cullin3 (CUL3)-based E3 ubiquitin ligase (PMID: 31337872). Germline mutations in LZTR1 have been reported in Noonan syndrome (PMID: 31825158) and schwannomatosis (PMID: 29409008, PMID: 27472264), while Lztr1 expression is downregulated or inactivated in several tumor types (PMID: 24362817, PMID: 23917401, PMID: 18686028). | ||||||||||
