Gene Description MAML2, mastermind like transcriptional coactivator 2, encodes for a member of the Mastermind-like gene family and acts as a transcriptional co-activator for Notch receptors (PMID: 12370315). A fusion with CRTC1 and MAML2 has been found in salivary mucoepidermoid carcinoma (PMID: 26503699, PMID: 32129900, PMID: 31661572) and a fusion with CXCR4 and MAML2 has been identified in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 24855209) and with YAP1 in metaplastic thymoma (PMID: 31641231).
