| Gene Description | TRIM4, tripartite motif containing 4, is a member of the RING family of E3 ubiquitin ligases, which plays a role in mitochondrial morphology, regulation of reactive oxygen species level, and oxidative stress-induced cell death (PMID: 26524401). Decreased Trim4 expression has been demonstrated in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 32368282), and TRIM4 fusions have been identified in mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung (PMID: 26200269) and Spitz tumors (PMID: 26013381). | ||||||||||
