| Gene Description | DLG5, discs large MAGUK scaffold protein 5, encodes for a scaffolding protein, which is involved in epithelial cell structure and extracellular signaling (PMID: 24910533). Decreased expression of DLG5 has been associated with the proliferation and migration of cancer cells (PMID: 24910533, PMID: 31787846) and a DLG5-RET has been identified in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 28634282). | ||||||||||
