Gene Description GREB1, growth regulating estrogen receptor binding 1, encodes a chromatin-associated estrogen receptor (ER) coactivator that mediates hormone-dependent transcription and growth regulation (PMID: 23403292, PMID: 32894276, PMID: 29973689). Increased GREB1 expression has been observed in breast (PMID: 11103799, PMID: 30154312), prostate (PMID: 16496412), and colorectal (PMID: 32629543) cancer, and GREB1 fusions have been identified in uterine tumors (PMID: 30350331, PMID: 29218853, PMID: 31094921).
