| Gene Description | GAB2, GRB2-associated binding protein 2, is an adaptor protein, which upon activation by cytokines, growth factors and antigens, amplifies the Shp2-Ras-Erk and PI3K-Akt signalling pathways (PMID: 26095858). Amplification and/or overexpression of Gab2 has been observed in breast cancer (PMID: 12140767), neuroblastoma (PMID: 28329685), melanoma (PMID: 19509136) and may play a role in BCR-ABL1 mediated leukemia (PMID: 28804122). | ||||||||||
