Gene Variant Descriptions ALK G1202R lies within the protein kinase domain of the Alk protein (UniProt.org). G1202R has been demonstrated to confer drug resistance in the context of ALK fusions (PMID: 22277784, PMID: 24736079), but has not been biochemically characterized and therefore, its effect on Alk protein function is unknown (PubMed, Apr 2020).
