Gene Variant Descriptions ROS1 S1986Y lies within the protein kinase domain of the Ros1 protein (UniProt.org). S1986Y has been demonstrated to occur as a secondary drug resistance mutation in the context of ROS1 fusions (PMID: 27401242), but has not been biochemically characterized and therefore, its effect on Ros1 protein function is unknown (PubMed, Mar 2022).
