Gene Variant Descriptions ABL1 K609del (also reported as K628del in isoform IB) results in the deletion of an amino acid in nuclear localization signal motif 1 of the Abl1 protein at amino acid 609 (UniProt.org). K609del has not been characterized in the scientific literature and therefore, its effect on Abl1 protein function is unknown (PubMed, Jun 2022).
