| Gene Description | CDH4, cadherin 4, is a member of the cadherin superfamily that regulates cell adhesion (PMID: 1712604) and migration (PMID: 15143071), and is involved in development (PMID: 12407162, PMID: 18701479, PMID: 29706646) and tumor metastasis (PMID: 19491271). Cdh4 overexpession has been identified in osteosarcoma (PMID: 29610525), decreased Cdh4 expression has been identified in salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma (PMID: 27783992), gastric cancer (PMID: 27029387), and breast cancer (PMID: 19491271), and epigenetic silencing of CDH4 has been identified in colorectal, gastric, and nasopharyngeal cancers (PMID: 15548679, PMID: 21665361). | ||||||||||
