| Gene Description | WASF2, WAS protein family member 2, encodes for a member of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASP) family of proteins and plays a role in cell migration, and cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis via complex formation with PKA (PMID: 21119216). A fusion with WASF2 and FGR has been identified in melanoma, ovarian cancer, and lung squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 25204415). | ||||||||||
