Gene Description NCOA2, nuclear receptor coactivator 2, interacts with nuclear receptors to coactivate downstream transcription, and plays a role in regulation of multiple biological processes including reproduction and homeostasis (PMID: 12805412, PMID: 24953190). NCOA2 amplification and/or overexpression has been demonstrated in prostate cancer (PMID: 25295534), and NCOA2 fusions have been observed in several tumor types, including rhabdomyosarcoma (PMID: 31999033), mesenchymal chondrosarcoma (PMID: 23463663, PMID: 22034177, PMID: 31897203), and uterine tumor resembling ovarian sex-cord tumor (PMID: 30273195).
