| Gene Description | OLFM4, olfactomedin 4, is a member of the olfactomedin glycoprotein family that is involved in neural development and immunity (PMID: 25364714). Overexpression of Olfm4 has been associated with gastric, pancreatic, colon, lung, breast, and cervical cancers (PMID: 25364714), extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma (PMID: 32276789), and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 31990698), and an OLFM4-RET fusion has been identified in small-bowel cancer (PMID: 28802831). | ||||||||||
