| Gene Description | RABAC1, Rab acceptor 1, binds to prenylated Rab proteins and regulates membrane association of Rab GTPases via displacement of GDI (GDP dissociation inhibitor) from the Rab-GDI complex (PMID: 14574414, PMID: 10751420), and plays a role in vesicle trafficking (PMID: 21798244, PMID: 12107180). Decreased expression of RABAC1 has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 23068607), and decreased RABAC1 expression and loss have been identified in prostate cancer (PMID: 18366025). | ||||||||||
