| Gene Description | RAD51AP1, RAD51 associated protein 1, is a DNA-binding protein that interacts with Rad51, mediates homologous recombination-dependent DNA repair (PMID: 22375013, PMID: 17996710, PMID: 17996711), DNA replication (PMID: 25288561), and alternative lengthening of telomeres (PMID: 31400850). RAD51AP1 is upregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 14966907), cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 18316552), mantle cell lymphoma (PMID: 16920159), oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 17079134), ovarian, lung (PMID: 29126163), and breast cancer (PMID: 26537449), and a fusion with DYRK4 has been identified in luminal B breast cancer (PMID: 33172895). | ||||||||||
