| Gene Description | AEBP2, AE binding protein 2, is a zinc finger protein that modulates chromatin methylation as a component of the PRC2 complex, thus regulates embryonic development and cell migration (PMID: 27317809, PMID: 25451679). Mutations in AEBP2 have been identified in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 24487277) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 27749841), and loss of AEBP2 has been identified in acute myeloid leukaemia (PMID: 27022003) and chronic myeloid malignancies (PMID: 22190018). | ||||||||||
