| Gene Description | MSI2, musashi RNA binding protein 2, binds to RNA to regulate target gene expression (PMID: 27034466), including targets involved in regulation of cell proliferation (PMID: 25774828, PMID: 27034466), and migration (PMID: 27034466), and plays a role in regulating hematopoiesis (PMID: 20616797, PMID: 24395885, PMID: 20621054). Increased expression of MSI2 has been observed in several tumor types including B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 25090928), non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 35580385), and pancreatic cancer (PMID: 27449499), and an MSI2-HOXA9 fusion has been identified in chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 12649177). | ||||||||||
