| Gene Description | CANT1, calcium activated nucleotidase 1, is a nucleotide enzyme (PMID: 32907608) that plays a role in proteoglycan metabolism (PMID: 22539336, PMID: 30439444). Overexpression of CANT1 has been demonstrated in several tumor types, including hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 37858061), clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 31102300), and prostate cancer (PMID: 21435463), and CANT1-ETV4 fusions have been identified in prostate cancer (PMID: 18451133) and melanoma (PMID: 35871080). | ||||||||||
