| Gene Description | GLIS1, GLIS family zinc finger 1, is a member of the Kruppel-like zinc finger family containing both transactivation nand repressor domains to function as both an activator and repressor of transcription, and plays a role in embryonic development (PMID: 12042312) and cell reprogramming (PMID: 29057252). A GLIS1 fusion has been identified in hyalinizing trabecular tumor of the thyroid (PMID: 30648929). | ||||||||||
