| Gene Description | DCTN1, dynactin subunit 1, is one of six subunits and the largest subunit of the dynactin complex (PMID: 30510450), which regulates the motor function of the dynein complex during axonal transport (PMID: 31291987). DCTN1-ALK fusions have been identified in uterine inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (PMID: 26062823), lung cancer (PMID: 28970558), glioblastoma (PMID: 36780194), and non-neural granular cell tumors (PMID: 30001233), and decreased expression of Dctn1 has been observed in melanoma (PMID: 29864111). | ||||||||||
