| Gene Description | DDX5, DEAD-box helicase 5, is a member of the DEAD-box family of RNA helicases that is involved in transcriptional regulation and RNA processing (PMID: 17699760, PMID: 30419318, PMID: 30506978), and plays a role in cell proliferation through regulation of several signaling pathways including Wnt/beta-catenin, Notch, and mTOR (PMID: 26212035, PMID: 30506978). Overexpression of DDX5 has been observed in several tumor types (PMID: 30506978), including colon cancer (PMID: 17699760), non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 26212035), and T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 23108395). | ||||||||||
