| Gene Description | DKC1, dyskerin pseudouridine synthase 1, functions as part of the telomerase holoenzyme complex involved in telomere maintenance (PMID: 30931479, PMID: 34556550), and plays a role in RNA splicing and ribosome biogenesis (PMID: 34556550). Overexpression of DKC1 has been identified in a variety of cancers (PMID: 34556550), including clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 29901172), hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 22912812), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 31857720). | ||||||||||
