| Gene Description | DLG1, discs large MAGUK scaffold protein 1, encodes a scaffolding protein that plays a key role in cellular signaling and structure, including cellular polarity, cell to cell contact, and vesicle trafficking (PMID: 23829493). DLG1 mutations have been identified in mammary ductal carcinoma (PMID: 14871824), variable expression has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 29263038), and endometrial cancer (PMID: 27002939), and a fusion with DLG1 and BRAF has been associated with colorectal cancer (PMID: 31911540). | ||||||||||
