| Gene Description | ENG, endoglin, also known as CD105 (PMID: 32132043), is a membrane coreceptor for the TGFbeta superfamily (PMID: 31897911) and is preferentially expressed in proliferating endothelial cells (PMID: 18381930) and functions in angiogenesis and leukocyte trafficking (PMID: 32059544). Expression of Eng has been identified in multiple tumors and is associated with poor clinical outcomes (PMID: 18381930), and lower levels of soluble Eng has been associated with high-grade prostate cancer (PMID: 32132043). | ||||||||||
