| Gene Description | EPHB4, EPH receptor B4, encodes for an erythroprotein-producing hepatoma (Eph) receptor tyrosine kinase, which upon ligand binding results in bidirectional signaling between cells (PMID: 12094214). Amplification and/or overexpression of EPHB4 have been observed in several tumor types including breast cancer (PMID: 16816380), lung cancer (PMID: 31934189), esophageal squamous cell cancer (PMID: 31885720), and may promote cancer cell survival (PMID: 26073592). | ||||||||||
