| Gene Description | FAT1, FAT atypical cadherin 1, is a transmembrane atypical cadherin that regulates cell growth via inhibition of the Yap1 pathway, and is involved in cell migration and invasion (PMID: 23076869, PMID: 29565465). FAT1 homozygous deletions have been identified in glioblastoma, astrocytoma and oral cancers (PMID: 23076869, PMID: 23354438), and mutations have been observed in several tumor types including glioblastoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, colorectal, and esophageal cancer (PMID: 23354438, PMID: 23076869, PMID: 29565465), and T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 24972153). | ||||||||||
