| Gene Description | JMJD1C, jumonji domain containing 1C, encodes a histone H3K9 demethylase implicated in the nuclear hormone receptor-based transcriptional regulation (PMID: 17549425). JMJD1C expression and mutations are associated with various tumor types (PMID: 17549425; PMID: 24501218; PMID: 24896186) and specifically, overexpression has been observed in MLL-rearranged leukemia (PMID: 31076406) and esophageal cancer (PMID: 28123852). | ||||||||||
