| Gene Description | FGF12, fibroblast growth factor 12, is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family, which can act as a ligand for the four major FGF receptors to activate downstream signaling and plays a role in the anti-apoptotic response and sodium channel regulation (PMID: 38042708, PMID: 32357892, PMID: 21566136, PMID: 36029553). Increased levels of FGF12 have been identified in gastric cancer (PMID: 30873760) and FGF12 hypermethylation has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 22552777). | ||||||||||
