| Gene Description | FHL2, four and a half LIM domains 2, is an adaptor protein associated with transcriptional regulation of numerous cellular processes, including signal transduction, adhesion, proliferation, and apoptosis (PMID: 16389449, PMID: 18615633, PMID: 26211626). FHL2 overexpression has been observed in a variety of tumor types (PMID: 17352216), including glioblastoma (PMID: 29321665), colorectal (PMID: 26320172), and cervical cancers (PMID: 29800735), and a fusion of FHL2 and GLI2 has been identified in ovarian sclerosing stromal tumors (PMID: 31896750). | ||||||||||
