| Gene Description | KDM6B, lysine demethylase 6B, is a Jumonji domain histone demethylase and epigenetic regulator (PMID: 30633952), that regulates gene transcription through chromatin remodeling to control cell growth and differentiation (PMID: 28725537). Aberrant expression of KDM6B has been observed in a variety of tumor types including, HNSCC, pancreatic cancer (PMID: 25275298, PMID: 24947179), renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 28725537), and glioma, where it may inhibit or promote tumorigenesis, depending on the context (PMID: 27151432, PMID: 30633952). | ||||||||||
