| Gene Description | FLNC, filamin C, encodes a member of the filamin proteins that cross-links actin and interacts with a variety of proteins at the Z-disk of muscle cells, therefore contributing to muscle development and function (PMID: 32295012). Decreased expression of FLNC has been identified in gastric (PMID: 31452262) and prostate cancer (PMID: 32547947), while overexpression of Flnc has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 27626164). | ||||||||||
