Gene Description TARDBP, TAR DNA binding protein, encodes a member of the heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein family involved in regulation of gene transcription (PMID: 7745706, PMID: 19539030) and mRNA splicing, transport, and translation (PMID: 21358643, PMID: 28733604, PMID: 28566288). TARDBP-BRAF has been identified in melanoma (PMID: 31618628), and increased Tardbp expression has been identified in triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 29581274), ovarian cancer (PMID: 36369320), and melanoma (PMID: 27786596).
