| Gene Description | HEY1, hes related family bHLH transcription factor with YRPW motif 1, functions as a downstream effector of the NOTCH signaling pathway, and plays a role in cell proliferation and differentiation (PMID: 28468863, PMID: 27129302). Increased HEY1 expression has been demonstrated in several tumor types (PMID: 28468863), and HEY1-NCOA2 fusions are recurrent in mesenchymal chondrosarcoma (PMID: 22034177). | ||||||||||
