| Gene Description | MACF1, microtubule actin crosslinking factor 1, is a member of the spectraplakin family of cytoskeletal linkers that plays diverse roles in cell proliferation, migration, and development (PMID: 28577926). MACF1 aberrations have been identified in glioblastoma, breast, lung, and colon cancer (PMID: 28782898), a MACF1-BRAF fusion has been identified in pediatric low-grade gliomas (PMID: 29156677), and a MALAT1-MACF1 fusion has been identified in triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 31745703) and in ovarian carcinoma (PMID: 30416686). | ||||||||||
