| Gene Description | POFUT1, protein O-fucosyltransferase 1, encodes a glycosyltransferase that catalyzes O-linked fucosylation of EGF-like repeats in receptor proteins and plays a role in regulating Notch signaling (PMID: 11524432, PMID: 18347015, PMID: 28729422). POFUT1 amplification has been observed in colorectal cancer and colorectal adenoma (PMID: 30380753, PMID: 31411736), and POFUT1 mutations have been demonstrated in colorectal cancer (PMID: 32486426). | ||||||||||
