| Gene Description | PHF19, PHD finger protein 19, encodes a member of the polycomb-like family of proteins that is involved in chromatin organization and plays a role in regulation of embryonic stem cell self-renewal by recruiting the polycomb repressive complex 2 to stem cell genes, which leads to suppression of transcription (PMID: 23104054, PMID: 23160351). Phf19 overexpression has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma, glioblastoma and multiple myeloma (PMID: 25955388, PMID: 30323224, PMID: 31383640). | ||||||||||
