| Gene Description | FOXP1, forkhead box P1, is a member of the Fox family of transcription factors that functions as a transcriptional repressor, regulating genes involved in several cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation (PMID: 17614763, PMID: 26654944). Altered FOXP1 expression has been observed in lymphomas and multiple solid tumor types including colon, pancreatic, and stomach cancer (PMID: 17614763), and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 22904134), and a FOXP1-MALAT1 fusion has been identified in triple-negative breast cancer and high-grade serous ovarian cancer (PMID: 31745703). | ||||||||||
