| Gene Description | PCLO, piccolo presynaptic cytomatrix protein, is a component of presynaptic active zones and a scaffold protein that potentially plays a role in trafficking of synaptic vesicles (PMID: 12654920, PMID: 10707984). Overexpression of Pclo has been associated with poor survival in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 28263981) and PCLO mutations and amplification have been observed in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 28263981). | ||||||||||
