| Gene Description | HNRNPK, heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K, plays a role in RNA metabolism by acting as a scaffolding protein, thereby allowing interaction with multiple proteins and subsequent mediation of various RNA-related processes, including transcription and processing of pre-mRNA (PMID: 11231586, PMID: 21693523). Overexpression of Hnrnpk has been observed in renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 26713736), while decreased expression has been observed in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 26412324). | ||||||||||
