| Gene Description | BIRC2, baculoviral IAP repeat containing 2, belongs to the IAP family, and is involved in regulating TNF and NF-kB activated signaling pathways (PMID: 21653699). BIRC2 mutations have been observed in lymphoid and epithelial tumors, loss of BIRC2 has been demonstrated in multiple myeloma (PMID: 26094954), and BIRC2 amplification has been detected in cervix carcinoma (PMID: 22733500) and melanoma (PMID: 31408190). | ||||||||||
