| Gene Description | DNAJB1, DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B1, encodes a molecular chaperone of the DnaJ/Hsp40 family, which stimulates the ATPase activity of Hsp70 proteins, and plays a role in protein folding and degradation (PMID: 16952052, PMID: 20651708). A DNAJB1-PRKCA fusion has been associated with fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 29162699, PMID: 24578576). | ||||||||||
